Escaping streak surge
A blaze surge on the Bhotekosi River that streams down from Tibet to Nepal has cleared away houses dislodging the inhabitants of Tatopani and close-by towns including Liping and Das Kilo.
The 45 MW Bhotekosi Hydropower and the under development 102 MW Mid-Bhotekosi Hydropower were likewise harmed in the surge, alongside the 30 km Tatopani-Lamosangu segment of the Kodari Highway.
