John Goddard: Woking midfielder joins Swindon Town on a three-year deal From the section Football

Former Reading trainee John Goddard joined Woking in September 2013

League One side Swindon have signed midfielder John Goddard from Woking for an undisclosed fee.

Goddard moves to the County Ground on a three-year deal, with the club also having a further 12 month option.
The 22-year-old scored 17 goals in 41 National League appearances for Woking in the 2015-16 season.
"We are delighted to have secured his signature with him being one of the hottest properties in non-league," Swindon chairman Lee Power said.

"From the moment we were given permission to speak with the player and agree terms, Woking have been absolutely first class in their handling of the situation."
